Today we’re sharing a recently completed primary ensuite 4-piece bathroom renovation in Markham. Scope of Work: The original bathroom featured a standard builder-grade layout, including drywall shower walls, a drop-in bathtub, and a darker, dated color palette. As part of the renovation, we removed the drywall shower enclosure and replaced it with a clear glass walk-in shower. The bathtub was upgraded to a freestanding tub, and both wall and floor tiles were fully reinstalled. A custom floating vanity was also added to improve functionality and visual openness. Color Palette: The overall color scheme uses Benjamin Moore OC-52 for the walls, paired with black fixtures as accents. For the primary vanity, a white floating design was selected. Floating vanities are especially suitable for bathrooms under 100 sq ft, as they help enhance the sense of space and keep the layout feeling light and open. Shower & Faucet Fixtures: All shower fixtures and faucets are from Riobel, selected for both durability and clean, modern design. Tile Selection: Floor Tile: HU.VK.WHT.2424PL Shower Base: HU.VK.WHT.1224.MT Shower Wall: HU.VK.WHT.1224.PL Special credit goes to the homeowner for the excellent tile selection. The subtle marble veining creates a refined, cohesive look that feels elegant without appearing busy, resulting in a bathroom that is both timeless and visually balanced.
