Markham Renovation Interlocking and Deck

This outdoor renovation project was designed to enhance functionality, durability, and visual continuity across the backyard living space. The scope included large-format interlocking installation, a custom elevated wood deck, and a staircase system that seamlessly connects the upper deck to the paved patio below. The interlocking area was carefully leveled and laid with weather-resistant pavers to ensure long-term stability, proper drainage, and a clean, modern appearance suitable for daily use and outdoor gatherings. The second-floor deck was constructed using pressure-treated wood, paired with black metal railings to create a balanced contrast between warmth and structure. Stair dimensions and railing spacing were precisely planned to improve safety, comfort, and ease of movement while maintaining a visually streamlined profile. The deck layout maximizes usable outdoor space and provides a smooth transition between indoor and outdoor living areas. Through coordinated material selection and thoughtful spatial planning, this project delivers a cohesive and low-maintenance backyard environment that supports both relaxation and entertainment.
